At Artisan Handyman, we recently tackled a project involving porch post replacement and brick wrapping. The customer’s back porch had load-bearing cedar posts that had rotted at the bottom. We replaced both cedar posts and added an extra layer of protection by wrapping the cedar posts with brick, about 2.5 ft high around the bottom of each post.
